History

A meeting was held November 28, 1964 at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Headquarters in Jefferson City, Missouri, for the purpose of organizing a Missouri Division of the IAI.

Fourteen members of the I.A.I. representing various law enforcement agencies from throughout the State of Missouri were in attendance and it was voted unanimously to apply to the I.A.I. for a Missouri Division Charter. Also, to apply to the Secretary of State for a charter, (as a non-profit organization).

Constitution and by-laws were approved as amended by the members in attendance.

An election of officers was held and the following persons were elected by acclamation, to serve until the next annual state conference.

There will be one conference a year. The first to be held in October, 1965. The date and place to be selected by the Board of Directors.

All those present became members by majority vote, and the meeting was adjourned.
